since 2011, i have been making drawings of plants for the plant good seed company to put on their seed packets. i grew their seeds in my first garden on the west side of buffalo and this illustration work has really grown into a special important friendship with seed farmer quin and with plants themselves.
in 2021, I started making some paintings for PGS using inks made from plants growing around me, the seed collections artwork is an example of this technique:
